History

The Highlands was developed by the Olmstead Brothers in 1907 beginning 450 feet about Puget Sound with roads winding down towards the water.  Before homes were built, tracts were distributed a draw from a hat.  There were 50 original tracts which have since been divided into 112 lots and 66 acres were set aside for reservation or park property.
